Side-view morphs are eventually headed to the mapper, and as I have time I’m still creating some on my iPad. Recently, I made a set of 2 edges and 2 top-side corners, and now I’m ready to share them.
They’re nothing too interesting, but once the mapper is ready to handle side-view maps these will be necessary.
Another fantastic morph! Looking forward to seeing these in the mapper.
How did you make them on your iPad?
I’ve been drawing them freehand using an app called SketchBook Express. It’s a decent sketching app – better than most I had tried.
My process is basically to place one layer with a picture of a graph paper grid and then start drawing on a second layer. I use a size 2.5 brush for main lines, 1.5 for hatching and features/details, and 1 for some of the really small detail. Once done, I can simply hide the grid layer and export from SketchBook Express to my photo gallery and then e-mail it to myself.
Thanks very much. 🙂
Wow, those are great! I like the dino bones in there, great idea!
